CCAFT was chartered in 1976 and is the premier education organization in the area representing over 2,300 educators in Corpus Christi ISD, Calallen ISD, Flour Bluff ISD, Tuloso-Midway ISD, West Oso ISD and Gregory-Portland ISD.
In Texas, AFT has over 65,000 members. Nationally, AFT’s 1.5 million members constitute a formidable organization advocating for better salaries, benefits, and working conditions.
